Clinician-led medical weight management

FDA-approved GLP-1 care, guided by a licensed clinician, from home.

An independent, licensed clinician reviews your secure online health assessment and, only if it's clinically appropriate, prescribes an FDA-approved, brand-name GLP-1 medication — dispensed by a state-licensed U.S. pharmacy, with ongoing follow-up care.

How it works

Five steps, start to follow-up.

Medical weight management that follows the same order a good clinic would — assessment first, medication only if it fits, and follow-up for as long as you're in care.

  1. 1

    Online assessment

Complete a secure health assessment about your history, current medications, and goals — from home, in a few minutes.

  2. 2

    Clinician review

A clinician licensed in your state reviews it, may ask for recent labs or a video visit, and talks through your options.

  3. 3

    Prescription, if appropriate

If an FDA-approved GLP-1 medication is a good clinical fit, your clinician prescribes it. If not, they'll explain why.

  4. 4

    Pharmacy dispensing

A state-licensed U.S. pharmacy fills your prescription and ships it to you with the Medication Guide.

  5. 5

    Ongoing follow-up

Regular check-ins to review how you feel, manage side effects, and adjust your dose when appropriate.

Medications a clinician may prescribe

Clinicians prescribe only FDA-approved products, each for the use it is approved for. Whether one is right for you — and which — is a decision you make with your clinician.

Why Coravita Health

Real medicine, practiced carefully.

Coravita Health provides the telehealth platform and patient support. Coravita Health does not practice medicine; all diagnosis, prescribing and treatment decisions are made by independent, licensed clinicians. Prescriptions are dispensed by state-licensed U.S. pharmacies.

Independent clinicians make every decision

Your care is directed by independent clinicians licensed in your state. They review your history, decide whether treatment is appropriate, and own every prescribing decision. No one on the Coravita Health business team can change that.

Licensed U.S. pharmacy

Prescriptions are dispensed by state-licensed U.S. pharmacies, using FDA-approved, brand-name products.

HIPAA-aligned privacy

Health information is collected through a secure intake and shared only with your treating clinician and dispensing pharmacy.

Ongoing support

Follow-up care with your clinician, dose adjustments when appropriate, and patient support by phone and email.

Lifestyle & nutrition guidance

GLP-1 medications are approved for use with a reduced-calorie diet and more activity. We help with both, in realistic steps.

Who it may be for

Could an FDA-approved GLP-1 be right for you?

Weight-management GLP-1 medications are approved for adults who meet the criteria below. Your clinician determines eligibility after reviewing your full health history.

30+BMI

Adults with a body mass index (BMI) of 30 or higher.

27+BMI

Adults with a BMI of 27 or higher and at least one weight-related condition, such as high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes, or high cholesterol.

It may not be right if you

  • Have a personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma (MTC) or MEN 2
  • Are pregnant, planning a pregnancy, or breastfeeding
  • Have had pancreatitis or a serious allergic reaction to a GLP-1 medication

These reflect the FDA-approved labeling for weight-management products, used together with a reduced-calorie diet and increased physical activity. Meeting them does not mean a prescription will be written — your clinician determines eligibility.

Care that continues

Medication is one part of the plan.

The first prescription is a starting point, not the finish line. Follow-up care continues as your body and your routine change.

FAQ

Common questions

Do I need a prescription?

Yes. Every medication on this site is prescription-only. A licensed clinician must review your health information and decide whether one is clinically appropriate for you.

Which medications may be prescribed?

Only FDA-approved, brand-name products, each for its approved use. For chronic weight management, clinicians may consider Wegovy®, Zepbound®, Saxenda® or Foundayo™. For type 2 diabetes care, they may consider Ozempic®, Rybelsus®, Mounjaro®, Trulicity® or Victoza®.

Are Ozempic® or Mounjaro® prescribed for weight management?

No. Ozempic®, Rybelsus®, Mounjaro®, Trulicity® and Victoza® are FDA-approved for type 2 diabetes, and they are prescribed only as part of type 2 diabetes care.

Will I definitely receive a prescription?

No. Prescriptions are written only when your clinician decides treatment is clinically appropriate. If it isn't, your clinician will explain why and talk through other options.

Will my insurance cover the medication?

Coverage varies by plan. We can help check whether your pharmacy benefit covers a prescribed medication.

Is my health information private?

Yes. Health information is collected through a secure intake, handled under HIPAA-aligned safeguards, and shared only with your treating clinician and dispensing pharmacy to deliver your care. We never sell it.

Which states are available?

Care is available in states where independent, licensed clinicians on the platform can see patients. Select your state when you get started and we'll confirm availability.

Ready to see if you're a candidate?

Start with a short, secure assessment. A licensed clinician will review it and talk through your options — no commitment.
